The National Bank of Georgia has set a new exchange rate for the national currency. The US dollar depreciated to 2.9262 lari at the auction on May 19. The exchange rate in effect today was 2.9442 lari. Accordingly, the change in the dollar exchange rate against the national currency amounted to 1.80 tetri.
The euro also depreciated and amounted to 3.0789 lari. At the current exchange rate of 3.0973 GEL. Accordingly, the change in the euro exchange rate amounted to 1.84 tetri.
The Turkish lira depreciated to 0.1832 lari, the British pound also depreciated to 3.6338 lari.
The rates established as a result of today's trading will take effect from May 20.
