Lari strengthened - exchange rate

The National Bank of Georgia has set a new exchange rate for the national currency. As a result of trading on October 4, the US dollar depreciated and amounted to 2.8150 lari. The current exchange rate was 2.8228 GEL. Accordingly, the change in the dollar exchange rate against the national currency amounted to 0.78 tetri.
The euro strengthened, the exchange rate of which is now 2.7860 lari. While the current exchange rate was 2.7590 GEL. Accordingly, the change in the euro exchange rate amounted to 0.27 tetri.
The Turkish lira depreciated to 0.1515 lari, while the pound strengthened to 3.1956 lari.
The exchange rates established as a result of today's trading will take effect from October 5th.
