Metropolitan of Akhalkalaki, Kumurd and Kariya, Reverend Nikoloz, addresses the government of Georgia with a statement regarding the detention of the third President Mikheil Saakashvili.
According to the clergyman, many problems will be removed if the problems associated with the third president are resolved.
That is why Reverend Nikoloz proposes to the government to transfer Saakashvili to his diocese.
“I want to appeal to the government. For example, I personally agree to cooperate with the government, and if there is no other solution, I can allocate some place in my diocese that will be controlled by the government. “I think that many problems will be solved if Mikheil Saakashvili will be placed under house arrest,” Metropolitan Nikoloz said in an interview with the Georgian Times.
