Melikishvili street closes for traffic on 1-7 December

Traffic movement on Melikishvili street in central Tbilisi will be totally limited from December 1 to 7 owing to the final asphalt layer installation, Tbilisi mayor Kakha Kaladze announced on Wednesday.
From Kekelidze Street and Chavchavadze Avenue, vehicles can cross to Varaziskhevi, and the other way around.
Traffic from Varaziskhevi will be permitted in the direction of the right bank of the Mtkvari, Tamar Mepe Avenue, and Kostava Street.
The right bank of the Mtkvari River, Tamar Mepe Avenue, and Kostava Street are open to traffic from Varaziskhevi.
As part of the temporary changes, public transportation scheme will also be altered.
