The leader of the "Citizens" party Aleko Elisashvili commented on the decision of the "National Movement" and "Strategy Agmashenebeli" to temporarily suspend parliamentary activities:

“If you are interested in my opinion, then some people are simply too lazy to work and call it a boycott, you get a salary, but you don’t go to parliament, and you call it a boycott,” Elisashvili said at a plenary session of the Georgian parliament.

It should be reminded that the "United National Movement" and "Strategy Agmashenebeli" decided to stop their parliamentary activities after the February 6 Tbilisi City Court announced the decision in the case of ex-president Mikheil Saakashvili. By a court decision, Saakashvili was not given the right to travel abroad for treatment.
