“An anti-Chekist, anti-Patrushev coalition has clearly formed in Russia, which includes the oligarchs Roman Abramovich, Anatoly Chubais, Vladimir Potanin and Oleg Deripaska. There will be a serious struggle for power in post-Putin Russia between them and the power bloc,”  Russian political expert Valery Solovei said.

“An anti-Patrushev coalition has been created, it includes Roman Abramovich, Anatoly Chubais, Vladimir Potanin and Oleg Deripaska. The battle for post-Putin Russia has begun. Security Council Secretary Nikolai Patrushev is actively lobbying his son, Dmitry Patrushev, who is currently Russia's agriculture minister, to become the Russian president's successor. This attempt by Patrushev is met with strong resistance not only from the Russian oligarchs, but also from the security forces. That is, a strong coalition has actually formed among the elites against the preservation of power in the hands of the security forces.

If Dmitry Patrushev becomes president of Russia after Vladimir Putin, then it is clear who will lead the country behind the scenes - of course, his father - Nikolai Patrushev and the heads of law enforcement agencies. The fight has begun. Representatives of the coalition of oligarchs believe that Putin's successors should be finance minister Anton Siluanov as president and chairman of the Russian Central Bank Elbira Nabiulina as prime minister of Russia. That is, a serious confrontation began between civilians and law enforcement agencies. The struggle for post-Putin Russia has begun. Everyone in the elites is well aware that Putin will soon be unable to govern Russia due to health problems, at least he will not be able to appear in public. The fighting season and hunting season is open. And hunting involves victims, that we will see them in the near future. Now we are at the beginning of this process, but it will develop more and more actively,”  Valery Solovei said.

Solovei draws attention to the fact that Oleg Deripaska defiantly did not applaud at the St. Petersburg Economic Forum during Vladimir Putin's speech.
Valery Solovey was one of the Russian experts who has stated several times since the beginning of 2022 that Russia will definitely attack Ukraine. As for Vladimir Putin's health problems, the expert spoke about this a year ago.

According to Valery Solovei, despite all the efforts of doctors, Putin's health is deteriorating and the transition of power to Russia is expected in late autumn or early winter. That is why a fierce struggle between the elites began in Russia.
