The armed forces of Ukraine went on the offensive in the Kherson region. Currently, the Ukrainian army is attacking in the direction of Nova Kakhovka from the East and from the North. Tanks, aviation and artillery participate in the offensive.
The Ukrainian army, after two days of fighting, managed to break through the defensive positions and now they are separated from Novaya Kakhovka by about 50 kilometers. In the event of the capture of Novaya Kakhovka, where one of the two bridges across the Dnieper is located, approximately 25,000 Russian soldiers are surrounded, and there may be more than one environment.
Ukrainian troops are also attacking in the northern part of the country and, according to preliminary information, occupied Kremennaya. Kremennaya is located just a few kilometers from Severodonetsk.
