Ex-president Mikheil Saakashvili's lawyer Shalva Khachapuridze appeals to Georgia's Public Defender Nino Lomjaria.
According to Khachapuridze, the Georgian Ministry of Health found fault with the American expert, as if he did not provide documentation confirming his work in recent years.
“The Public Defender can help the expert meet with Mikheil Saakashvili. I call on the public defender to help the expert protect the rights of the imprisoned Saakashvili and let him go to the Vivamedi clinic.
They find fault with the fact that the expert allegedly did not provide a document confirming his work in recent years. In fact, this document was submitted several times,” says Mikheil Saakashvili's lawyer.
